American cheese slices
Bacon, cooked
Bread slices

Make open-face sandwiches and broil until cheese melts. Layer as follows: Bread slice, layer of pork-n-beans, slice of cheese, 2 slices of bacon.

16 oz. can pork and beans
1/2 c. diced onion
1/2 c. diced dill pickles
3 hard-boiled eggs, diced
1/2 c. diced bell pepper
1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 hard-boiled egg, sliced

Drain beans and remove pork. Stir in all ingredients but sliced egg and paprika. After top is smoothed down, place eggs to decorate and sprinkle on paprika for color. Serve cold. Will stay good when covered in refrigerator for up to 7 or 8 days.

2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can
pork and beans
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, mix sugar, oil, eggs, and beans beating until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine next 4 ingredients. Add to bean mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in raisins and vanilla. Fill 5 greased and floured 16 ounce pork and bean cans 2/3 full with batter. Place cans on a baking sheet and bake 45-50 minutes, testing for doneness with toothpick. Cool completely on a wire rack before removing bread from cans. Bread may also be baked in two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 3/4 inch loaf pans at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes.

1 can pork and beans
1/2 lb. hamburger
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. tomato catsup

Brown hamburger with the chopped onion. Drain off excess fat. Add 1 medium can pork and beans. Stir in ¼ cup tomato catsup.

1 can pork and beans
1/2 onion
1 tbsp. mayonnaise
2  eggs, hard boiled
1 1/2 pickles

Chop eggs, pickles and onions. Add to pork and beans, then mayonnaise. Chill and serve.

½  lb. ground beef OR TURKEY
1  med. onion, finely chopped
½  sm. bell pepper, finely chopped
1  c. ketchup
½  tsp. vinegar
1/8  c. brown sugar
1  tsp. prepared mustard
1 (15 oz.) can
pork and beans
½  tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper

Brown ground beef, onions and pepper in a 10 inch skillet. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture is bubbly.

1 lb. ground beef OR TURKEY
1 env. onion soup mix
1 lb. can
pork & beans
1 lb. can kidney beans, drained
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. mustard
1/4 c. sugar

Cook meat in large skillet. Then drain off excess fat. Put meat into 2 1/2 quart casserole dish, then add all of the other ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. This can also be fixed in a crock pot. Cook meat in large skillet. Drain off excess fat. Put meat and all of the other ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low for 1 1/2-2 hours.
