God’s Media Assignment

Once in a while a movie comes in and carries an assignment so powerful that words fall silent. God created media to empower, heal and reach the nations. The Lord is using media to bring forward more understanding of the problems of child trafficking and raise individuals as mighty prayer warriors in His army.

The movie ‘TRADE’ is just starting to play across theatres in the US. Extreme Prophetic Missions organized a movie night in order to raise awareness for sexual exploitation and trafficking. The movie shook us so deeply that we were unable to leave the theatre for 40 minutes after the final credits were showing. People were interceding and crying out to the Lord.

The Movie ‘TRADE’

The brilliance of the film is The Truth. Everything you see shown is an actual replica of events that took place. Every tear of a child that runs down on the screen is an accurate reenactment of a little girl’s pain.

There are several facts brought forward by the film, which might be too difficult to handle. Those are the ones that I would like to present to you for prayer. Prayer is a powerful weapon!

Fields of Pain

In the movie, traffickers brought children to a parking lot close to a farm field. Several cars were waiting there - all at hand in order to purchase a child for an hour or so.

The children were mostly kidnapped from Mexico or local foster care homes. Then they were sold, one by one to the men waiting.

Inside the farm fields….small areas were assigned by the blanket on the dirt and a clock hanging on a piece of rope. The children were between 4 and 11 years of age. The noise of all the clocks ticking and the cries of the children were deafening.

Recently a field of this kind was raided by the California police. How many more fields are there in the US?

Other designated areas in the USA are truck stops and small parking lots on rural fields.

Internet Media and the Global Trade

The children that are brought to the designated areas are usually purchased online. When the traffickers kidnap a child, they post the picture on the internet. Web sites require passwords to get in and unless you know someone who has already purchased a child, you won’t be able to get access. The sites usually have an innocent name, like “ourfamilyvacation.net” or a camping web site advertising daily rates for their campsites.

Children’s pictures are posted daily with a starting price - just like on e-bay. The bi-weekly auctions are held on line and the winner of the auction gets a special e-mail letting him know where he can pick up ‘his’ child.

Men can make special orders. There are frequent orders for children from Thailand or Cambodia. The children are stolen from that country and shipped to the US for the auction. Once the men have used them they throw them out or re-sell the little boy or girl.

The Journey to Hell

Drugs, violence and fear play a big role into keeping the children submissive. Every single child is drugged and most of them beaten. Throughout the journey to the different locations, they are kept in the back of a truck but, unlike animals being transported, they don’t have any light or fresh air inside.

Sometimes the traffickers will stop at different locations along the way to the destination. Those stops are service favors to the police officers, designated pedophile spots (just like the farm fields described above) for quick cash and drug purchases.

By the time the child is sold to the client who has won the auction, it has lost its little soul and ability to fight.

The kids are kept in basements, abandoned houses and locked in secret rooms in suburban areas.

We are standing before an evil that is so big, it shatters our hearts. But no evil is bigger than our God. Nothing that the enemy has stolen cannot be restored, healed and comforted.

When you pray, think about their little faces and their eyes. Remember that God can and God will fight this- through you and I.

This film should move us to declare a full scale war against horrific crimes committed to innocent children.



Also, please remember the people who have dedicated their lives to serving God by fighting for and rescuing these precious children: missionaries. police officers, mothers and fathers, and intercessors. Let’s cover them in prayer and pour joy and protection over them.


Prayer Directives:

·   Pray that what is hidden will be revealed. Pray that this year, God shows those ministries working in the area of human trafficking the locations, people and brothels where children are kept. Pray for divine wisdom, discernment, and protection over anyone who is looking for the children.

·   Pray for an avalanche of media coverage - films showing young people rising up to fight this evil and bringing light into the darkness.

·   Pray for financial support for organizations that are trying to save these children. Pray that the money of the unrighteous will be transferred into the hands of godly warriors who are saving trafficked children.

·   Pray for the internet - that God will show the police how to find and destroy chat rooms filled with images of stolen children- images and videos that are so dark but still available for anyone who wants them. Pray for protection over children and young people who are finding these websites and being lured in.
Pray for healing and restoration for these children. Pray that God will allow them to fulfill their dreams and that they will come to know Him in a real way.
